People are being dramatic saying it will be hard to find your place or fit in if u were to tranfer into the chapter. Yes it will take putting yourself out there and actively trying to get to know people within the chapter but it is not that hard and people wont just shut you off because they already have friends. Your experience will be what you make of it! I agree that it is not the same as joining as a freshman since you wont have your "pledge class" to rely on as a way to meet people but you will possibly have the opportunity to bond with the chapter during recruitment week as well as obviously during the school year and you will get to bond with the incoming freshman
