this is SO a true. there are 100% benefits to being in every tier sorority that none of the other tiers can provide. bottom tiers often times have the best sisterhood, focused the least around boys because they aren’t super into frat relations. middle tiers really offer an amazing combination of sisterhood while still hanging out with some amazing fraternities, and most of the girls in these chapters are SUPER cool and funny. but they don’t hang out with top tier frats and they’re labeled “mid.” top tiers come with the prestige of being considered a top tier girl, and hang out with top tier frats and middle tier ones, but sometimes the top tier frats are a LOT and sisterhood can sometimes get too focused around frats and a little shallow. there are benefits to every single tier, and not every chapter is the same experience. you need to go into recruitment figuring out what kind of individual experience you want. i know girls in all tiers of chapters and they all love it, but for totally different reasons! pan love always, all the chapters are amazing and unique, and full of great women.
