What do you mean by “divide”? Most people in Greek life will make friends outside of it, so there isn’t a barrier in that sense. But socially, there is a big difference. Geed parties, from my experience, generally have: • less people • more guys • way way more alcohol, that gets drank way faster • much more inexperienced partiers If you mean a divide as in “do we hate each other”, there are definitely some weirdos out on campus who really hate Greek life. But overall it’s more than common to have good relationships with people outside of your chapter. Who doesn’t love a good geed friend? Plus non-sorority girls can be really fun to have at parties sometimes.
