So like someone else on here that posted earlier, I dropped as well pretty early in the rushing week. I had amazing conversations with all of the ones I ended up loving and the conversations came very naturally. I smiled all the time and was super outgoing and the convos could have gone on forever. However, I was dropped by ADPI, ZTA, KD, DDD, AOII, and Chi Omega. I wanted to be in a house with smart and classy girls and nothing else. Mostly I was looking at DDD and ADPI (which i know is very hard to get into but I love their values) but I just don't understand what I did wrong to get dropped from all of these. Other girls made me feel like complete crap after this round as they were talking their tent talk. I was not interested in these so called"top tier" houses cause that is what they are supposedly called. I just personally had better experiences in these houses because the girls seemed genuinely sweet and like my type of people. The other sorority girls in other houses were still nice but in most of those I got strange vibes and the girls I talked to did not click with me one bit. I am so convinced I was one who fell through the cracks and just had to be cut? does this happen when someone seems like a good fit but they have to get cut? I was just so distraught but more so confused? A girl I met said she was invited automatically to ADPI just because she had a rec letter (they sent her back a letter saying this). I had no rec letters which i regret tremendously because I could have had them. Please nobody be rude calling me some superficial snob who just wanted the "top houses". That's not the case. Also, looks are not an issue here if I am being honest.
