This is when every chapter was chartered at UF ADPI - 1948 ZTA - 1949 KD - 1948 DDD - 1948 DG - 1949 AOII - 1948 PBP - 1969 KAT - 1962 DPHIE - 1969 DZ - 2003 XO - 1948 KKG - 1978 AXO - 1949 PHI MU - 1949 AEPHI - 1948 GPHI - 2015 SK - 1949 APHI - 2018\n\n\n\n\nClearly ranks can change over time. DZ was chartered 55 years after XO and they're better. PBP chartered 21 years after AXO PHI MU SK and 7 years after KAT. Still better. DPHIE founded 21 years after AXO PHI MU SK and they're better. Ranks change depending on how rush goes for each house and who does good at recruitment. One good or bad pledge class can change a ranking for the next 10 years. So sure maybe AOII was middle in the 90s and XO was considered top but they aren't any more. AOII top tier XO low middle.
