what she was saying was that you're falling right into the common joke we make of freshmen here. You're coming to UF, we're all smart. We all came in with a lot of credits, high GPAs, and I've met PLENTY of people (myself included) who came in with an AA from hs. So bragging about these things just makes you look conceited. No hate but someone's going to burst your bubble eventually, you'll realize you're not as special as you thought you were when you come to UF. Trust me, we all went through it, but you're coming to a school with kids that were all top in their hs, so find something to make yourself stand out besides academics!
