The way I see it, most girls do not care about what tier another girl is in. But you will probably have more friends within your tier because you do more things together. Personally I have friends in all different tiers and and it doesn't change anything or bother me. I only see tiers really come into play in fraternity pairing. Top sororities pair with top fraternities and so on
