Comparing Spring informal recruitment and fall formal recruitment is comparing apples and oranges. And I agree panhel could have done a better job getting the informal parties lined up so they allowed for more opportunity to see other houses...BUT they are not required to. COB is not required to be structured or organized like formal recruitment (that's NPC rules, not URI). In the fall everyone has to go to every house, on schedule. What has happened in the past is girls rushing in the fall didn't like who they got invited back to for second round, so they'd drop out, or at the end only list one house on their pref card. Last year there was a big turnaround, and MANY more girls got placed because they were more open minded. I'm sure your friends are great candidates. Most of the houses that rushed girls last spring had to decline girls they would have loved to take. In the spring there's no quota, you can only bid up to the set campus ceiling. those women, hopefully, will participate in fall rush and almost definitely get bids.
