If you had a disappointing recruitment, it is okay to vent here, but don't list so much identifying information, like your specific legacy connections, the exact clubs you were in in high school, or what your recruitment was like at a specific sorority. Also, keep in mind that sororities are social organizations (who also have an emphasis on leadership, academics, and philanthropy). Ultimately they are looking for girls who they perceive will be good friends to have in he sorority, fun to do social activities with, be attractive (looks and personality) in social situations with fraternities, and will be good recruiters of future new members. Nearly everyone comes in with a strong list of achievements from high school. What activities did you get involved with during the first semester at OSU? How were your grades? And even if your activities and grades are strong, if the members don't feel highly about you on the "social" side of things (compared to other girls they've met through recruitment), you may be released.
