I was in the exact same situation when I went through. I put a house first and ranked another just because. I ended up getting a bid to the just because sorority. I did the same thing after bid day but was told to trust the system and I'm glad I did. I ended up loving my house and looking back don't think any other house would have been right. DZ has a lot of socials and a lot of their girls don't care about tiers which makes them have a strong sisterhood. Give it time and turn your attitude around. If you're that concerned about "tiers", then you joined for the wrong reasons anyways.
