I received a bid from DZ (I am a freshman) and never clicked with the girls and surprised I even got a bid. I really loved my first choice and then put DZ as my second and did not have a third option. I went into bid day thinking I got a bid from my number one because I thought it went really well and didn't even consider DZ. Then I opened my envelope and realized that it was DZ. I was so disappointed and went to the bid day festivities and did not have fun at all then went back to my dorm and cried. I know a lot of freshmen who are going through the same thing and want to know if rushing next year is realistic. I met a lot of sophomores who rushed this year who either suicided or did not get a bid. I did get a bid though so does that effect me? I know I have to wait until next year and can't do informal. Also what is the true view of DZ? I want to know the truth because they are ranked so low everywhere and maybe there's a reason for that. I just don't know what to do...
