I'm shocked a parent actually wrote this and very sorry for the daughter! She obviously doesn't realize the type of girls in the "mid tier" sororities at osu. I'm in one of the "mid-tiers" she spoke of and was homecoming queen of my large high school, top 5%, worked as a model, on osu deans list, come from a well-to-do family and I'm pre-med. but, most importantly, I was taught to have a passion for a cause I support and to look for what's important in a friendship and sisterhood. I'm sorry you seem to buy into superficial stereotypes and appear to have given your daughter some misguided advice. Many girls would have been happy for the opportunity to join any of the houses your daughter was fortunate enough to have been given the chance. And, honestly, I'm glad she chose not to move forward with any of them because, had they known her true character, they probably wouldn't have felt she was a good fit anyway.
