I did the exact same thing with my current chapter when I rushed and didn't get a bid on bid day. Chapters who do not meet their quota (girls not accepting bids, not having enough new members, etc) will most likely have an open informal recruitment after ZTA finishes recruiting their new chapter. So, you can either go Zeta, or wait and see if chapters need more members. VP's of recruitment may reach out to you individually as you are still on the list as a girl who went through recruitment, or you can find out by word of mouth/friends/etc. You can always give Zeta a chance to see if it's actually for you or not! My heart aches for you, I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes and I know on bid day my freshman year I felt totally lost and heartbroken. Just know that not everyone has a conventional Greek experience and if this is really what you're looking for, you will find your home!
