First, was your GPA lower than 2.7 or 2.8? If so, it was probably due to grades. Because the first round goes so quickly it's often hard for chapters to rank PNMs based on convos for their first round of cuts. I would say more chapters cut for grades and class rank the first round than any other reason. Being a sophomore alone won't typically get you cut first round, though. Keep going until you have no invites.
