Yes this is so important. Everyone's experiences and opinions on this site are going to be super subjective because everyone wants something different in a house and that's ok! PNMs, as exhausted as you may be, try and really enjoy this process and don't put thought into most things you read here. You'll make great friends during the recruitment process and I promise no one will care about the "rank" of your house in real life. I am in what this site would rank as a lower tier house and to me it's been amazing. My friend group from freshman year dorms all mostly ended up in "top houses" and I probably talk/hangout with them just as much as I do with my own sisters. Prioritize what you are looking for in a house rather than listening to everyone else and I'm sure you'll have a great experience!
