Each spring the Greek System should do a rotating schedule of "spring block" partners. OSU SFL comes up with a committee to create the schedule each year. So it is kind of like a football schedule. You wait and see who is on your schedule and when it is. Lets pretend I am in Chi O. and just before the semester starts we get our block schedule. Week 1 PiKapp Week 2 Delt Week 3 Fiji etc... If a frat is too small you combine two frats for that week's schedule. That way all the houses get to know each other much better. Cuts back on all the venom. Houses get excited to see who they get. Rankings and social tiering get tossed for a few weeks each year. Schedule varies year to year so it is always fresh and new.
