If you do choose to go through with that gpa, you are going to have to understand that you are completely at mercy of the chapters. You will essentially have very little say in where you end up because you will most likely only get asked back to 3-4 chapters after grade checks. And this is only if you've made a big enough impression for them to keep you. I went through my freshman year with a 2.7 gpa and it was really hard on me. I ended up dropping and it hurt a lot to get cut even when I felt like I clicked with chapters. I worked on my grades and re-rushed the following year with a 3.2 and had a much better experience (and outcome). I know it sucks and is a bummer but I'm just warning you. Don't take it too personally, you're just seen as a grade liability with that low of a gpa. Focus on raising that gpa and come back as a sophomore!
