That's a ridiculous comparison and you know it. Schools have minimum GPA requirements, athletics have minimum GPA requirements, and so does Greek life. The "pillars" of Greek life include scholarship and service, so of course there would be a grade component of being a member. And it's not like they're saying a girl is stupid. They're trying to help her improve her GPA so she is more competitive for jobs, internships, etc. I love having the academic push from my sorority that makes me want to do better
