I'm looking to go threw Spring Rush. I'm a freshman who lives at home not the dorms, so it would be my main source of connection to the school. I really want to join but I have some concerns. Which sororities are having Spring Rush? I don't want to wait until Fall, so I really want to rush now. Here is my primary concern: I really want to be a part of something, but I don't want to lose my personal identity. Reading some of these posts and seeing a few women in class, I'm a bit worried about a sorority really defining me. I saw a recruitment video and it said, "You are always wearing your letters" for the rest of your life. Sort of made me feel uncomfortable. I feel like I should be able to make mistakes without letting everyone down. I just want to join a group that lets me be me. Any suggestions?
