Thursday: Orientation, probably in the evening Here you will be able to get a brief overview of the seven Panhellenic sororities on campus and meet other women going through the process of recruitment. You will then be separated into small groups just as you were during Mason’s orientation and will have small group leaders called Rho Gamma’s. Friday: Day 1 of Recruitment, probably in the afternoon The first day of recruitment is casual and you will travel with your small group to all seven of the sororities on campus. This will allow you to gain a base knowledge of each of the chapter’s values. Saturday: Day 2 of Recruitment, around noonish The second day of recruitment is business casual, during this day you will learn about the chapters’ philanthropy and service events. This allow you to further explore each of the seven chapters’ values. Sunday: Day 3 of Recruitment, around noonish This is the final day during the recruitment weekend and is formal. You will further your conversations with the women you previously met in the chapters you felt most comfortable in. At the end of this day, you will select the chapter you see yourself fitting in with best. Monday: Bid Day, late afternoon This is the day that wraps up the recruitment process and is the most exciting day during the recruitment process. This is when you receive your bid and discover which chapter your Rho Gamma’s call home! check out the gmu panhellenic website for more info :)
