Alpha Beta Guess what? No one really cares about rankings after the first 3-4 weeks following formal rush. And if you do, then you really need to reevaluate your priorities... Rankings are the reason that so many hearts are broken during rush and there is so much pressure on PNMs to join the "right" sorority. And by the way, judging a girl/choosing whether or not to associate with her based on her affiliation is just stupid. Many girls are picking sororities based on their perceived rank, rather than how much they actually like the girls in the sororities. You shouldn't choose tridelt just because people say it's "hottest" sorority, you should choose them because you actually feel a connection with the girls. And you shouldn't dismiss gphi b because they're new at Duke and "not as cool"; if you click with the girls, pick them. And if you don't get along with a chapter, you can drop it. Each of our sororities is different from one another, and they all have something unique to offer. Rush is like four days, but you're with your sorority for almost four years. Choose your sorority for YOU, not for what anyone else thinks. Everyone can't go through rush hoping to be in one of only three groups and keeping that view throughout the entire process. TL;DR rankings are stupid, you shouldn't care about them, and if you do, you're perpetuating a toxic environment.
