I rushed as a junior and got a strong house. The only group that gets pressure from national to drop non-freshman I've heard is Alpha Phi. And they aren't a top pick for most people any way. I just dropped them on the first day, cause I didn't want to waste my time with a house that only wants freshman. I did really well in rush and got my top pick.
