Subject:
Before you put that top tier first…

Poster Message:
Before you rank your preferences in the afternoon and you think that the top tier was so great and you had great meaningful convos… well so did everyone else. We have all been practicing all week at this and for a lot of us this is our second or third year. What you don’t know is that most of you have been ranked and sorted before you even logged onto zoom. Your insta has been checked, your friends insta that might have tagged you, your visco, FB, all that stuff. If there was any suspicious behavior you’re put down a level or two. Some of you are already down a level because you are sophomores or juniors. Grades? Yeah they count too. Can you dig yourself out of this hole…maybe, maybe not. You all have a chance but if you give the top spots to all the top sororities you are just giving them the opportunity to cut more girls and you might be one of them and more than likely you are. Doubt me? Then you need to follow Bama Rush on TikTok and look at what happened to “whatwouldjimmybuffetdo” Yep this could be many of you that are so willing to list a top tier first. You are the ones crying when your list comes out and you can’t understand what went wrong. What went wrong was you! You gave them the chance to cut their list by almost half and spend their time truly focusing on their top preferred recruits. The preferred ones that would get a bid anyway cuz you know ..they have an in, they have an influencer account, they went to the same schools …when you write your preferences and going into your next round of calls really get a feel for these girls that are reaching out to you. Is this a girl you want to sit next to at meals for the next few years? Is this a girl you could cry to at 3 am because of boys? Does this girl make you laugh and want to spend more time getting to know her and others like her? This is what you need to be considering when making your preferences and ranks and not the letters of the house or their tier. Why would I tell you this? Because everyone deserves a fair chance and they need to go into this process knowing the possible outcomes besides just “trusting the process” good luck to the girls I’ve already talked to and I can’t wait to meet the rest of you all tomorrow! You better read this quick before it gets taken down!
