Well to answer that question you just need to take a look at the demographics of the school. Probably about 60-65% white, mainly pulling from Central and South Florida, whom very few of those kids have exposure to southern culture. If you do like southern culture/southern guys, then there’s a fraternity for you - the Kappa Alpha Order. They’re as southern as it gets in tallahassee(aka not nearly as southern as say SEC schools for example), but they have a lot of good guys. Other chapters of “southern” fraternities operate at this school(e.g. SAE and (formerly) Chi Phi), but their chapters here definitely lack that connection to southern culture, kind of by design.
