Do you really think that paying a fee to register to rush is a deterrent? Compared to the actual cost of dues it's nothing. That's a pathetic excuse for rush numbers being down. If rushees have to pay a fee to rush then perhaps you sift out the guys who actually might want to join a fraternity from the hangers-on who only want to come and drink your free alcohol with no intention of pledging. Doesn't seem like it's asking too much. Adapt or die people.
