Why you want to join a sorority, what you have to offer, what you're hoping to get from the experience, how you see being in a sorority affecting your life... if you have a personal relationship with their philanthropy, talk about that. They are looking to find sisters who will make the sorority better and stronger, so without bragging, find ways to show them that you fit and will enhance. The good news is that all types of people will make a chapter better, so don't try to be someone you're not. And always ask questions and seem interested: ask the girl you're talking to why she joined, and what her favorite things are. People love to talk about themselves and their chapters. Turn your answers into questions and give them a chance to relate what you're talking about back to the house: Do you have a lot of girls who are involved in XYZ? Do a lot of girls live in the house? Do you? What's your favorite thing about it? What kind of things do the girls do together? Are their alumnae active? As what makes them proud of their chapter. Ask/talk about academics because GPA is important and they want to know you're taking school seriously. And you can always compliment. "I love your dress/shoes/earrings" - "The house looks amazing" - "I love your philanthropy/video/whatever." Remember that they are nervous, too. They're trying to find amazing PNMs and make the PNMs love their chapter. If possible, put them at ease. Smile, laugh, and look happy and interested. Be a good guest!
