I got into asu and Barrett, got lots of money, for the upcoming year, visited couple of times the campus looked nice. But I’m not sure if I’m really gonna love it because of the way it seems it has changed. Everywhere I look it seems as if asu is loosing a sense of community, it’s turning into a regular city rather than a college city. They got rid of fraternity houses and replaced it with a village. Bars don’t let freshman in even for freshman that don’t wanna drink. I believe this is more dangerous because for kids who do wanna do stuff, they have to hop in a car and drive somewhere outside of Tempe which is a big risk. It makes me not excited to go to asu anymore. I also got into u of a, but without honors. And it seems like u of a still has a culture. Is going to u of an and not going to asu honors because of a declining social scene a stupid decision? Is u of a that much more fun than asu? Am I right about asu becoming more lame, while u of a seems to still have a good work hard play hard vibe?
