Please do not go into recruitment thinking “I want DZ because they are a top house”. The odds of getting into a specific house is like 4%. You may think DZ is super cool and you have to be a DZ but you may just not like them during recruitment. This happens a lot. Meet all of the houses and give them a fair shot. If you are blinded by the idea of a particular sorority you may not notice how much you would fit in in another sorority. Also you have to understand sororities really pick you, you have very little say. You basically just decided if you are showing up or not. You may not be the type of girl APhi or DZ is looking for this year but maybe a chapter like Kappa or KD or ADPi or AChiO would love to have you. Keep an open mind and give every chapter a chance. You would be lucky to be in any of the 13 chapters.
