Im in a bottom tier and i dont hear sht about it in real life. No one is rude enough to say something, except on this website. I get a lot of "oh i didnt know you were in XYZ, but thats literally it, no one has been mean to me because im nice and fun. If youre somewhat cute, know how to do your makeup, and are not overweight, you will get into any party you want. In a bottom tier You will still find sisters you love, and you will find some you dont like so much, just like a top tier. Also we spend less of our dues on dirty rush fines and whatever else is needed to keep "top tier" image, so we can better allocate funds to things that actually matter like philanthropy and sisterhood. Also all the girls i know that graduated have told me that employers dont care what house youre in and dont understand tiers, to them its all the same because your sorority will just be a footnote on your resume. A hiring manager in NY or SF or LA doesnt know what the difference between an ASU aphi or adpi, they just want to see extracurriculars and leadership in general. Getting a leadership position in a house is SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT for interviews than getting a top tier house. You dont know how many times ive heard my friends say they wish they didnt care so much during college Because once they graduated, it literally didnt matter lol
