There is no reason to consider AOII as a 'replacement' for any exsisting group. Our campus added AOII because we need smaller chapter totals, and having one extra home MIGHT lower house total. Smaller chapter totals MIGHT occur when: 1) we have additional sorority(s); 2) if fewer women go thru recruitment; 3) if fewer women are given bids; 4) if more than the usual number of women drop out of rush before being bid; and 5) any combination of the above-numbered reasons occur.
