Students going thru recruitment are not guaranteed bids, nor are they guaranteed party invitations beyond open house. This is one reason open hearts and minds are important. It isn't wrong to drop from recruitment, and it isn't wrong of any sorority to cut you from their list of invitees. Life is about choices and your responses/reactions regarding same. Our newest sorority, AOII, will not get leftovers from life and/or recruitment. AOII will choose their women from qualified students who are interested in them and have chosen to be interviewed/recruited by same.
