You will be treated with respect, kindness and tact by sorority women throughout any recruitment period, always. It's the sorority way. I suggest you treat them in a similar fashion. NEVER EVER ask the president of your former org whether they might take you back. That is desperate and tacky. Simply go thru recruitment again if you choose. Formulate and practice a brief, polite answer as to why you dropped after joining last year. Let the recruiting sorority women inquire about your previous status, do not bring-up the subject yourself.
