the cost of vegas formal tho is subsidized by dues. Example: 100 man chapter has a $100 formal fee, that is $10,000. Just the buses for 200 people to go to Vegas round trip is 20k. Total cost would easily be 400-500/person or more if you had to pay the entire cost. So while there are "extra" fees to actually go on the trips, the dues you pay still go toward it. Let me know of a chapter with a $500 formal fee...exactly. Dues are still going toward these events
