The way it works is AFTER formal recruitment, they have like coffee dates or lunch dates with women interested in AOPi to become founding members of their alpha class. Not everyone gets a bid and they should be selective to not repeat what KD did. It's worth rushing if you want to leadership positions, create new traditions, and so on. But it is a lot of work and you won't be considered a top house or even a middle house. But still cool. Remember not to accept a bid from any house you wouldn't want to be in bc then you can't rush.
