So i decide to go Kappa Delta, and in the beginning it was awesome. I think starting something new together, and the numbers being smaller made the bond genuine, but after they kicked out so many people, it destroyed the strong foundation we had, cause every person they kicked out was friends with some thats was part of the reason they loved KD, which just resulted in more members dropping, destroying the entire strong chemistry the chapter had in the beginning. It was like jenga. They kicked a few out and things collapsed. Having a strong alpha class that carried the bond of building up a sorority together was our foundation and when that was destroyed so was the sisterhood. And thats where it affected the beta class. Any new members are technically random girls thrown into a group till you have girls who have been there to teach them and get them to know sisters and adopt the vibe and identity of the sorority And we had a good vibe, we got along, we all mostly talked to each other, which was different(maybe its cause we were new? but still) . But with half the alpha class gone, and you replace pretty much all of council with the beta class that were not necessarily adjusted yet into who we were identity wise, it hurt the chapter. I didn't want to leave but I just couldn't stay we were becoming like the other sororities. A group of random girls under one name.
