Just some insight

I really hope PNMS aren't actually on this site and reading all the garbage, but just in case, here's a little insight. If you get the house you wanted all week, congrats, but this post isn't for you. This is an open post to all the girls who are disappointed when they open their bid card today and think it's not worth being Greek because they didn't get their first choice. If you get a bid from a house today, someone you talked to saw something in you that made them feel that you'd be a perfect addition to their house. They loved and wanted you. Trust the process. Know that you will end up where you end up for a reason. The girls who chose you, chose you because they knew that you'd flourish in their chapter. It's really easy to get caught up in all the hype of who is top or the "hottest" or the most desirable by frat guys. That is all superficial crap that doesn't have any weight on your Greek experience. In fact, your house may be top now, but by the time you're a senior, it might not be. That's the reality of tiers. It changes all the time and it really doesn't matter. That's why people say not to choose a house based on the girls in it, versus it's reputation. You aren't the first not to get your first choice and you're not the last. Girls who put in the effort to make friends and get involved with their chapters, will have the best experience. You'll find your people. your big and as cliche as it sounds, your bridesmaids.
