The above poster is not a LXA but more than likely from another house with a chip on his shoulder since LXA did not offer him a bid and he was relegated to a house that blanket bids to anyone that walks though the door. Because of the consensus that LXA is one of the top houses we attract many more rushees than other houses and can be much more selective in whom we give out bids too to insure they will be a good match "brother" with the rest of our members unlike many or most fraternities that will blanket bid to anyone that walks in the door without regard to meshing with other members of the house. Because we have have luxury of having our pick of the "best" men we all mesh well and have the strongest brotherhood in the greek system. One fallout of our standards is we probably turn away more potential rushers than any other house, and they end up in other fraternities, therefore we end up with a lot of people that we didn't give a bid to for one reason or another with a chip on their shoulders so there is a lot of jealousy and "haters" on these posts. I might ad that we acomplish our brotherhood in an adult fashion we do not have a two tier membership like many houses do. You will be treated with RESPECT from day one and not be treated with disrespect like houses with a pledgeship and two tier membership. We are now in college and adults and don't need to act like we are still in high school and immature.
