All sororities and fraternities host at least one philanthropy event every academic year, and typically it is up to the individual chapters what kind of event to hold. But there are some sororities who have flagship events that most or all of their chapters host. Here are some of the most iconic philanthropy events hosted by sororities nationwide.
Delta Gamma – Anchor Splash
When you think of an iconic philanthropy event, you definitely think of Anchor Splash. Every chapter of Delta Gamma hosts an Anchor Splash event every year, and we are all better off because of that. Done to benefit the sorority’s own philanthropy organization Service for Sight, Anchor Splash is a glorious synchronized swimming competition between campus organizations, which somehow always devolves into fraternity members in speedos. All done in the name of helping the visually impaired.
