Worcester Polytechnic Institute: Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a private research university in Worcester, Massachusetts that’s mainly known for technical arts and applied sciences. Forty-one percent of WPI students are enrolled in one of the 19 Greek chapters. Fraternity and Sorority members at Worcester donate to the campus in a variety of ways, such as helping students move in to their residence halls at the beginning of the year, hosting the Greek Carnival, hosting Greek Week to promote and introduce the various chapters, and performing a wide range of community service projects. Last year, WPI Greeks contributed 11,790 hours of community service and $51,700 was raised for charitable causes.
