Rush is right around the corner so if you haven't registered, do it!
Couple of Legit Things To Keep in Mind:
1. Most info on this site is BS and Self Ranking, so do yourself a favor and don't read it or don't take it seriously.
2. It's better to be Greek than not be, there are so many houses and you can fit into one.
3. You may think you should be xyz sorority but don't forget if a dork from high school is somehow in that house now and doesn't like you, you are not getting in at all no matter how many recs you have. This also applies to situations like if your current boyfriends old girlfriend is an abc then you are also not getting into that house either. Make peace with this now and move on!
4. All houses have pretty girls, thin girls and smart and involved girls and all houses also have less attractive, heavier and not as smart girls. THEY ALL DO!!!
5. All houses have socials and they change all the time.
6. All of us have Great Friends in other houses and it stays that way no matter which houses we pledged.
7. Any girl from any house can go to any frat after hours.
8. Keep an open mind during rush, it's mutual selection and in reality they will all offer a terrific college experience!!

And yes!!! The amount of house rankings on this site is ridiculously 7th grade and then the blame game of who started it is even stupider.
We all got into the U of I so we are smarter and far more condiment then just defending two or three Greek letters. Pull it together sorority girls and show everyone why Rushing and pledging at U of I is great and why we have the most sororities in the country.
There's nothing attractive about ripping on each other. We all love our houses as we should. #rush UIUC

I agree. The fake rankings are dishonest in such a mean way. It's wrong to try to take advantage of young PNMs who really don't know how things are here at all. Only a house with a lot of problems would need to trick people into agreeing to come back the next day.
