rush

Rush is right around the corner so if you haven't registered, do it!
Couple of Legit Things To Keep in Mind:
1. Most info on this site is BS and Self Ranking, so do yourself a favor and don't read it or don't take it seriously.
2. It's better to be Greek than not be, there are so many houses and you can fit into one.
3. You may think you should be xyz sorority but don't forget if a dork from high school is somehow in that house now and doesn't like you, you are not getting in at all no matter how many recs you have. This also applies to situations like if your current boyfriends old girlfriend is an abc then you are also not getting into that house either. Make peace with this now and move on!
4. All houses have pretty girls, thin girls and smart and involved girls and all houses also have less attractive, heavier and not as smart girls. THEY ALL DO!!!
5. All houses have socials and they change all the time.
6. All of us have Great Friends in other houses and it stays that way no matter which houses we pledged.
7. Any girl from any house can go to any frat after hours.
8. Keep an open mind during rush, it's mutual selection and in reality they will all offer a terrific college experience!!
9. Rush and Enjoy!!

You are so correct. It is really disturbing to see some of the awful things that people choose to write about some of these houses. All houses at U of I are great.
