sophomore rush

I will be transferring in as a sophomore next year and plan on rushing a sorority. My GPA is a 3.10 and I am a member of an extracurricular club plus have a great internship lined up over the summer. I am also a legacy for a sorority and have had a few family members who did great things for the school attend and work at U of I. I was just wondering if I would be eligible to rush or if it would bring me down as a sophomore?

It all depends on what you're willing to settle for.......
Some sororities need only warm bodies.
Others are very selective.
Grades don't matter.
Is your legacy from a top house like thetas or delta gamma?
Monetary "gifts" also help seal the deal.........

Do you think I will have to settle? I'm a legacy for an upper middle tier. I just really want to be able to get in to whichever house I want but I don't want my sophomore status to hold me back. What is a monetary gift?
