cost of fraternities

Going to rush next year and want to know the cost of dues for houses.

Just an as accurate as possible estimate would be nice for a mid-top tier house so I know how much to save over the summer.

For mid to upper tier houses pledging the first semester is roughly 400-700 bucks depending on the house . Then once you become an active it become 1000-1500 for dues. So overall each year your looking on spending 2000 per year for house dues.

don't get ambushed by parlor fees, social costs, and security deposits, etc. I went in as a pledge thinking my dues would be 700 and ended up forking over about 1300 after everything was said and done, and that was just for the first semester.
