by: eyesWatch out if your house is having a formal at a casino. The casinos are now requiring the chapters pay for security that works for the casino. Last week 3 parties were turned over to the AC police for underage drinking. 1 chapter from Monmouth, 1 from Rowan and 1 from Rutgers. Arnholt and Nationals have been notified.

I've been to a formal for the past two years and they've always had security at the doors checking IDs, that's nothing new. Calling AC police on the other hand is

This is true! I was at my boyfriend's formal at Bally's. He's from Rowan. There was a security guard at the door the whole time! They carded us. After getting into the party some of age people got underage people drinks. Soon the Atlantic City police were there. The police took away the chapter president, chapter treasurer and 7 underage partiers. They spent the night at the police station. The Rowan admin met with the president last week. Their Nationals discipline guy is visting the chapter next week. As we were leaving we saw the police go to the Monmouth sorority party down the hall. My boyfriend's chapter president said he saw a Rutgers fraternity president at the police station. He thinks they were from Rutgers-Camden. If it was a New Brunswick fraternity we can almost be sure Arnholt will close them.
