I know they're still holding on to the house and taking small rush classes but are they doing anything about get recognized again by the university?

no, they will lose the house when zeta recolonizes which will be next year. They're screwed

Sig Ep is working on it. They can't get their charter back and Zeta can't come back for a few years. They have the house next year too. So we will see.
