by: Nationals?I know the general ranks for sororities and fraternities at A&M, but which ones are the strongest nationally? And what about in the state of Texas? Like how do we compare to other schools and are there any sororities/fraternities that just tend to dominate in Texas schools?

PiPhi Kappa and Theta dominate Texas sorority life. Zeta, DG, TriDelt, and XO are all also pretty good throughout the state.
Top 5 here are probably Kappa, TriDelt, XO, Zeta, DG. Pretty much what you'd expect except PiPhi and Theta are not as strong as you'd think for a major Texas school.
Fiji SAE and SigEp dominate Texas fraternity life. Kappa Sig, Sigma Chi, and Delt are all also pretty good throughout the state.
Top 5 here are probably Fiji, KA, SAE, SigEp, Beta.
Again pretty much what you'd expect except KA and Beta are uncommonly good for a Texas school and Kappa Sig is much worse than you'd expect.

I'd say that Pi Phi is roughly equal to DG, depending on what you're going for during recruitment. DG is more popular with the guys and non-Greeks, Pi Phi has a bit more respectability though.
I'd actually say that Theta is doing much better this year (more improvement than other sororities). Their girls are more social this year which has only helped them shed their nerdy image. Plus they won Songfest, so that's nice to see.
