fall rush

So I rushed this semester(spring) and I didn't even get invited to the house I wanted. Is it true that fall rush is supposedly easier or something? And should I attempt the same house again? I feel as if this semester's rush was so messed up that it kinda messed up part of my rush

You have to be invited to fall rush and chances are if they didn't want you the first time they won't want you next time
