So I know adpi just recently colonized and alpha phi is coming next year. What are the perks and downfalls of joining a newly colonized sorority?

Any adpis on here that can answer this? The rest if us would have no idea.

I would agree with "gorebs". There are so many positives, but you have to have a bit of a thick skin. In the end, it doesn't really matter what other people think as long as you find sisterhood and a home within the chapter-- that goes for any sorority on campus. Besides, when you're out of college, very few people will care about the "tier" of the Ole Miss Chapter of XYZ sorority, because sororities rank differently on different campuses.

ADPi is traditionally a strong southern sorority so they should continue to improve. Alpha Phi is huge everywhere but in the south, where it seems their nationals are putting a lot of time and energy to develop strong chapters...and it is working. Two of the top national sororities, both have much to offer. It just depends on if you want to be part of established traditions or a person who helps start new ones/ No right or wrong decision, it is up to the individual.
