No member got their moneys worth of activities this semester.
So far it has been weak, The formal looks basic.
Getting no more than $500 worth of activities for over $3,000 semester dues.

Its a RIPOFF !

This year and especially this semester was very budgety.
Low budget social events. The formal looks disappointing.
Our Chapter Officers travel a great deal......?

Embezzlement is a crime. At least the posts above are now acknowledging their guilt.

Lets get all Greek Chapters to begin Annual Audits this year. Its the best way to get rid of these leaches.

We had a CW band last weekend at the house.
I spoke with the lead singer and he told they were paid $500 for the party.
The Chapter Treasurer posted $3,000 for the band.....

The weird formating, improper capitalization, bad grammar, and poor punctuation give you away every time. You made something like the last 10 posts in a row agreeing with yourself. You wrote a bunch of copypasta accounts of budget stuff in the numerous fraternities and sororities you claim to be part of. You're probably some blackballed pledge who might want to see a mental healthcare provider.

The average UT Greek gets @ 28 cents to the dollar in actual return. The remainder goes to the national chapter, then house overhead, then Chapter officer skimming, then actual Chapter events.

Many of us complained about the location, band and out of pocket extra costs.
The Chapter Treasurer told us it cost about $1,000 per member.
The costs were split with another sorority.

All told, 150 fraternity and 150 sorority members, 300 x $1,000 = $300,000 for a basic formal.....
Just a hotel ballroom, band, open bar for an hour then cash bar.
No hotel rooms were covered, except for the Chapter Officers.
A Four hour party $75,000 an hour.....NO WAY !!!

We are getting skimmed, RIPPED-OFF AGAIN !!!
HELP US or we should WALK.....
