Sorority house live in

I want to join a sorority in the fall, but I may not be able to afford living in the house. Am forced to live in the house or can I get a cheap apartment? Will I not get a bid if I can’t live in the house?

Some houses like aphi have a live in requirement while others may not have a live in requirement. Last year during first round i believe they gave you a financial sheet about costs and you can ask about that

Most houses have live in requirements, but they might make some adjustments this year given the circumstances. But living yin the house is cheaper than university housing, so it may not be as expensive as you think

for my chapter, the cost of living in + national dues was less than living in the dorms. the only additional cost we had was semester dues, which was about 400/semester.

also, i'm sure your live in requirement could be waived for financial issues.
